Just Waiting

Why does it happen that the people you want to be with forever leave you...why does it happen that when they leave you feel a part of your soul just died. Why does it happen when you want that special one to be near you at your darkest time? You look around and they are nowhere to be found. When they are beside they never feel appreciated, when all you try to bring a smile on their face with every fibre of your existence. They leave without a second thought, don’t say a word, never turn back to see that you are still standing, at that turn of life where you had to part ways. You are the last to know...within moments you become total strangers. All you are left with is an undying feeling that you are meeting for the first time. Suddenly the things that made one laugh become mind-numbing and infuriating. You wish they come back and keep waiting even though everyone says it’s hopeless. Drifting in the sea of sadness and pain without a guiding light, letting the waves toss you around. And strangely you feel being home just drifting. Suddenly pain is your best friend keeping you company, as you stand there not moving just waiting…
